Annoying features - L. Miyoshi - California, USA
Yes, it toasts quickly. And it looks nice.br /br /Several features of this toaster have make me come to hate this appliance. I've never hated a toaster before... who could hate a toaster? But now I do.br /br /1) You must turn the toaster on before beginning. When you do, there is an excruciatingly loud BEEP.br /br /2) You must now pick your settings. Your settings are not saved, so if you like your bagel at level 2, each morning you must tap through the LCD buttons to change "Toast" to "Bagel" and then tap down from "4" to "2".br /br /3) Another excruciating BEEP when the toast is done.br /br /4) The appliance turns off automatically after awhile. Which is a nice feature, except that there is one more startling loud BEEP when it turns off. And now if you want another bagel, you have to go through steps 1 and 2 again (tap, BEEP, tap, tap, tap, tap, lever) to reset it to your preferences. I just want to pop my bagel in and push down the lever.br /br /I agree with the previous reviewer. Make the BEEP optional, and save my settings.
